Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of College Athlete Advantage (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Athletes under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian agree to these Terms on their behalf. By using the Service you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Plans, billing, and refunds

Paid plans renew monthly unless you cancel before the next billing date. You may cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period unless required by law. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.

4. What we do — and don't — promise

We provide guidance, tools, profile-building, and outreach support. We do not guarantee scholarships, roster spots, admissions decisions, or specific recruiting outcomes. Recruiting is competitive and depends on factors outside our control, including your performance, academic record, and program needs.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity, age, statistics, academic record, or eligibility.
  • Upload content you do not have rights to or that infringes on others' rights.
  • Harass coaches, advisors, or other users.
  • Attempt to access, scrape, or disrupt our systems without permission.
  • Use the Service to violate NCAA, NAIA, JUCO, or state high-school athletic association rules.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (highlight reels, photos, profile information). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and share that content with college coaches and programs as part of providing the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and trademarks, is owned by College Athlete Advantage and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that should survive (payment obligations, IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability) remain in effect.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date and, when significant, announced by email at least 14 days in advance.
